With an extended amount of experience touring across Canada and Europe under their arsenal the band Misc released their self-titled album in the Spring of 2016. That same year, the band was nominated in the category Jazz Album of the Year at the ADISQ Awards Gala and received the prize Jazz Album of the Year at GAMIQ Awards. The trio returned in full force in the Winter of 2021 with the album Partager l’ambulance which garnered critical acclaim in Quebec and internationally. With this audacious record, Misc continues their experimentation and further blurs the boundaries between jazz and other musical genres. Their sound is characterized by a solid jazz foundation fueled by electronic music, pop, rock and various samplings; thus making them one of the most daring and interesting bands in Quebec right now.
