Singer-songwriter, accordionist, trained in theater and dance, Noé Lira loves to explore the blending of forms and cultures. Quebec-Mexican first generation, her creations are plural, multidisciplinary, rooted in current events, and address themes such as violence against women and the need for social change.
A firm believer in the power of rituals for collective transformation, her approach always aspires to spark dialogue, raise voices, untie bodies and weave spirits together. Since the release of her first album Latiendo la Tierra in 2021, conceived by an all-around women team, Noé Lira has been named Revelation of the Year by Radio-Canada and has garnered multiples awards and nominations (best album in the World Music category at the ADISQ and GAMIQ awards, three nominations at the Latin Awards Canada, and several "Coup de Coeur" awards at MUZ, Vue sur la Relève, ROSEQ and Artisti). Her musical universe is a hybrid between latin rhythm, folk and pop. Noé offers a trilingual show, in quartet, immersive and collaborative, filled with humor and authenticity.
