Claudia Bouvette returns with DON'T WANNA HEAR THAT SONG ANYMORE, a moody ballad that contrasts with her two sun-drenched singles CALL ME BACK ! and W.O.W.Y. released earlier this summer.
On her new song, Claudia explores the core of a significant relationship. A simple guitar line grabs our hand, inviting us to listen as the magnitude of the crisis catches fire, then subsides, only to flare up again, then smolder in the background. Each verse evokes the pillar of a neglected foundation, weakening over time thanks to insidious indifference and intentional miscommunication.
Relying on the organic feel of their instruments, Claudia Bouvette and singer-songwriter Soran, with whom she co-wrote her previous two singles, deliver a story that unfolds with maturity and wisdom. Graced by modest, delicate arrangements that recall 1970s folk music, the melody accompanies Claudia’s lyrics as they flow through the song like a waterfall.
DON'T WANNA HEAR THAT SONG ANYMORE is accompanied by a sultry music video starring Claudia Bouvette amidst some of Mexico's most beautiful landscapes.
