Dead Obies are back with a video for their brand new single, Monnaie (“Money”), out today via Bonsound. Directed by Jean-François Sauvé, the video is a literal depiction the song’s title. From a cannabis greenhouse to a multi-million dollar mansion, dollar bills fly. ;-)

Monnaie is available now on all music services.
Off the back of their ethereal Air Max EP (released in March), the rap group now offers a banger reminiscent of past hits like Where They @, which has garnered over 2.2 million streams on Spotify and over a million views on YouTube. Monnaie is Dead Obies’ Euro-braggadocio anthem fresh out of Grande Ville Studio located in Paris. The repeated chorus line Mets la monnaie dans ma main basically translates to get paid. It reflects a state of mind based on European entrepreneurship, and is inspired by the band’s latest tour throughout France.
