Safia Nolin delivers her new alt-rock single Mourir au large and announces a series of shows

Safia Nolin releases Mourir au large, the third single off her upcoming EP SEUM, due out October 29th via Bonsound. With this new song, Safia carries on the torch of the female singer-songwriters who made their mark in the 90's by adopting alternative rock as an outlet. Pre-order SEUM, on vinyl or digital, now.

Like her previous singles PLS and 1000, the song Mourir au large has two different versions. In addition to the grungier and alt-rock “sunset” version recorded with a full band, the musician recorded a “sunrise” version outside solo with her acoustic guitar. In reference to the not-so warm welcome that her second album of original songs received in 2018, she sings Pourrir au large / Quand je cherche ma place / Que le monde se tasse / Je me noie “dans le noir”.

Mirroring the duality of her new EP, Safia Nolin will host a series of four exclusive concerts to celebrate the release of SEUM. She will perform two shows - the first with a band of three musicians and the second, unplugged - at Pantoum in Quebec City, on December 9th and 10th respectively. On December 16th, Safia will give another acoustic performance in Montreal at the Bonsecour chapel, followed by one more full band concert at Foufounes Électriques the next day.
