While BEYRIES was in a studio session with Pierre Marchand working on new material, To Love Somebody suddenly occurred to her. Because she’s always loved the song and she’d sometimes perform Nina Simone’s version in concert, BEYRIES and Pierre decided to record a very pure, sleek version of the song.
