Lisa LeBlanc unveils a video for Ace of Spades

Lisa LeBlanc is pleased to share a video for her cover of Ace of Spades, a celebration of the impressive crowds who attended her dynamic shows at the Festival d’été de Québec, the Festif de Baie St-Paul and the Sommet des Arts et de la Musique de Longueuil. This Motörhead cover is off her album Why You Wanna Leave, Runaway Queen?, released via Bonsound last fall. LeBlanc’s friend and touring bandmate Pierre-Luc Racine directed the video.

Watch and share the video for Ace of Spades.

The Acadian singer attended the popular AmericanaFest in Nashville recently, and earned a ton of attention from some of the most important players in American media, including Bob Boilen who wrote on his Instagram account: Not a new voice for some but a new discovery for me and the best new voice I found at Americana fest this year. The host and creator of NPR’s All Songs Considered and the Tiny Desk Concert series has helped catapult a number of now-big-name artists to fame.

The recent Polaris short-list nominee is now touring across the country. Lisa LeBlanc stopped in Toronto last Saturday to perform at the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame (CSHF) Induction ceremony.
