Lisa LeBlanc unveils an electrifying live performance of the song Dans l'jus before embarking on an international tour and a series of orchestra concerts

Today, Lisa LeBlanc presents a live performance of her song Dans l'jus, which is currently nominated for Song of the Year at the Gala de l'ADISQ. The live footage was shot by Parce Que Films last June at the Francos de Montréal, where Lisa LeBlanc performed in front of an audience of over 45,000 people. The entire show was broadcast on ICI Radio-Canada Télé and is now available on Tou.tv. Featured on her album Chiac Disco, released via Bonsound in March 2022, Dans l'jus is a highlight from Lisa's current tour. It’s the song she uses to kick off her show each night.

Dans l'jus is a dazzling disco song with a grandiose opening, a solid rhythm section and shimmering, hypnotic arrangements. The lyrics reflect the omnipresence burn-out in our society as she sings: Wheel's turning but the hamster's dead. Lisa also takes the opportunity to poke fun at people who always seem to be in a hurry.

In addition to her Song of the Year nomination at the ADISQ Gala, the Acadian star is also in the running this year for Female Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year - International Recognition, Album of the Year - Popular (Chiac Disco), Show of the Year, Lighting Design of the Year (Julie Basse), Live Production of the Year (Gabriel Poirier-Galarneau), and Sound Design of the Year (Marc-André Duncan).

This coming winter, Lisa LeBlanc will realize a major dream that she’s had since the creation of Chiac Disco: a series of orchestra concerts presented at the Grand Théâtre de Québec (February 8th and 9th, 2024), at Place des Arts in Montreal (March 1st, 2024, Montreal en Lumière) and the National Arts Centre in Ottawa (March 15th, 2024). When we wrote these songs, we wanted to add orchestration like in the classic disco songs of the 70s, explains the singer-songwriter. Antoine Gratton wrote the string arrangements on the album, and now he's doing the arrangements for the show. It's a blessing to be able to play with an orchestra and to have so many musicians on stage.

Before embarking on her concert series, Lisa will tour Europe (France, U.K., Belgium) and the U.S. (Boston, New York, Chicago, and more) this fall. Visit lisaleblanc.ca or consult the list below for all details.
